Giverny

Done completely with a palette knife, visiting Giverny in France was one of the greatest and the single most inspiring experiences of my life. From a photograph, taken by my mom, i did this piece 1 year after the trip of a lifetime.
It ended up winning first place in the 2009 FAFO (Fine Arts Festival of Ocala) in Ocala, Florida

A slump even in which art begins to slip away from us, sure it will most likely recover, but for the time being you just feel worthless as an artist. You begin to doubt yourself, and question your ambitions.
I wish I could just get away from that feeling.

Anyway, I'm going to have to shoot my work on a shitty digital camera over the summer.
So get ready for horrible quality.
Hopefully when i upload "Technicolor 2" It will get some appreciation.
